Within Inventor, new colour schemes can be created and existing ones can be edited. I find this particularly useful for changing selection colours. The Colour Scheme Editor has been part of the Inventor installation since the 2019 release.

As an example, the default “Light theme” has rather similar colours set for the primary and secondary selection.

This can make it difficult to distinguish between the 2 participants of a constraint.

As I don’t want to alter the defaults, I will just create a new scheme and change the selection colours.

With the new scheme, editing existing constraints is much easier.

However, the Colour Scheme Editor is not limited to selections – many other graphical elements can have their colour changed, such as dimensions or sketch geometry.
