Cadline Engineering Services recently completed BIM support for Addison Project PLC on behalf of Volker Stevin & the DIO. The enabling works allow Britain’s two largest and most advanced Warships to power whilst in dock at Her Majesty’s Naval Base, Portsmouth.  The work was split across 2 contracts spanning over 12 month durations. The first ship built was HMS Queen Elizabeth, second to be built was her sister ship, the HMS Prince of Wales. Collectively they are known as the Queen Elizabeth-class Aircraft Carriers.

We specialise in Digital Engineering consultancy, delivering 3D design and Building Information Modelling to clients. In addition to new build detail design, we offer DEA processes, (Digitising of Existing Assets)  providing data rich models for improved asset lifecycle management, via cutting edge software navigation packages.

Our in house surveyors employ a variety of surveying technologies and workflows, from supplying high accuracy (down to the mm) point clouds for offsite fabrication purposes, to rapid point cloud data collection or drone surveying. We also deploy 360 HD photographic scans for interactive FM services, where we are now bridging the gap between BIM and the world of Facilities Management.

Being a provider of BIM and multidisciplinary engineering, technical and project delivery support to UK and International clients, our Engineering Services division pride themselves on being the delivery partner of choice for a large number of organisations across the sectors in which they operate.
