Cymap Electrical

The comprehensive design tool for high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) projects.

  • Offering the full range of calculations associated with HV and LV design. Electrical engineers have the advantage of being able to develop both schematics and physical layouts in parallel, so that physical cable lengths can be calculated. This allows both mechanical and electrical designers to work closely together when, for example, placing grills and ceiling lighting or radiators and sockets.

Cyspace

Cyspace software is used to convey to Architects, the early Mechanical and Electrical spacial plant/riser requirements to expedite the design more effectively during the building procurement process.

  • This leads to more efficient and cost effective design by utilising an earlier considered design approach. The software selects and sizes plant and equipment to produce 2D/3D layouts which are available to export into most CAD formats including AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit. Upon design maturity, Revit library parts can be used for the final co-ordination and or facilities management, as the design matures into a tangible working asset for the client.

TAS

TAS is an industry-leading building modelling and simulation tool

  • Thermal modelling allowing designers to accurately predict energy consumption, CO2 emissions, operating costs and occupant comfort. Engineers can check their designs for compliance with Part L, LEED and ASHRAE standards. If the design changes, the TAS model can be updated using the Revit model, the Cymap data or both.

    Fully dynamic plant modelling simulations can be performed using actual manufacturers plant with in built performance data, to see how the plant responds to the building simulation giving very accurate results. These are then used to analyse where the power and energy is being used so decisions can be made.
